Welcome to the History Page!Relax on a Homestead where many have gone before!!
Take a journey back in time to the early pioneer days. Many pioneers were headed west with the promise of land & freedom. Their travels were long and hard, but many wayfarers found a small farm in Findlay, OHIO, to be a place of rest. The farm was owned by a man name Major Bright, who settled the farm in 1832. After settling, the Bright family became aware of their central location. Many West bound immigrants would stop and ask permission to pass the night at their home. The "Marion Hotel" became the answer to these requests in 1854 Today, the old "Marion Hotel" is a precious memory, but the original dwelling house and barn still remain. To bring back these days gone by, the dwelling house has now become a charming Bed & Breakfast known as "The Lambs Ear".
